If you only have time for one Auckland day trip, make it Waiheke Island. Between the beaches, the food, and the vineyards, it’s paradise. Our small group tour was relaxed and felt very personal. The highlight was sitting on a vineyard terrace with a glass of red wine overlooking the ocean.
